It is the approach that suggests that design should respond to the user's behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. The practice consists of a mix of flexible grids and layouts and an intelligent use of CSS media queries.
Layout is a pattern that defines a website's structure.It has the role of structuring the information present on a site.It provides clear paths for navigation within web pages and puts the most important elements of a website front and center.
